Leagues have not attracted attention in 2017. However, in 2018 we ran a fall league that finally attracted 6 teams that resulted in $2100 additional revenue. With the success of the fall league, we ran an indoor winter league in 2019 that resulted in over $13,000 in revenue. I expect to have at least 30 teams for the winter league in 2020
Golf in School has been a huge success introducing golf to kids in schools, we help acquire SNAG equipment through GAP, Philly PGA for schools at no charge. We offer teacher training and I go into schools and help PE teachers introduce golf during school. With over 30 schools signed up for 2019 we are really excited to see golf in the area grow. We have the potential to reach thousands of kids, introduce golf and continue to teach them going forward. We have been involved with Golf in School since 2017.
We offer after school SNAG programs with York Jewish Community Center for over 3 years, plus a few schools and Manchester township.
We teach Operation36 outside at 2 local courses, and have ability to move inside during inclement weather. During Spring, Winter, and late Fall we are inside at York Indoor Golf.
Also, we host several teams, including a deal for York College to practice. They have had 2 of their best seasons in history, highlighted by men’s and women’s team winning conference and participating in Division 3 National Championship. York Indoor Golf has helped York College attract recruits from as far away as Florida and California
