Please indicate any Growth of the Game initiatives your facility/academy has launched over the past year (please give specifics on such programs):
WRGolf continues to expand its community-based golf programs under the leadership of PGA Professional Will Robins.
Programs include Junior Spring and Summer Camps, a Junior Year-Round Program, Collegiate Program, Ladies Clinics, and Adult Group Coaching. These initiatives make golf accessible and enjoyable for players of all ages and skill levels.
Adult Program – Guaranteed Results:
This signature 10 Shots in 10 Weeks program guarantees results by focusing on playing the game, not perfecting the swing.
The approach helps adults overcome overthinking and learn to trust their ability.
Over the past year, we’ve focused on growing the game through our Ladies Golf Clinics — designed to create a fun, comfortable, and inclusive environment for women to learn and enjoy golf. These sessions emphasize skill development, on-course confidence, and community connection. Our goal has been to make golf more approachable for women of all experience levels by providing a welcoming atmosphere, flexible scheduling, and supportive coaching. The clinics have successfully introduced new players to the game while helping returning golfers build consistency and confidence.]
Junior Programming:
WRGolf’s motto, “Making champions in golf and life,” is reflected in its year-round junior programming, which integrates
The First Tee curriculum and life skills. The Junior Development Tour features the WRGolf Hat System, helping players track progress and move up skill levels, creating tangible success pathways. The tour hosts sold-out monthly events with up to 80 players.
Collegiate and Advanced Programming:
WRGolf’s College Path Mentoring Program guides high school players through the college golf process, resulting in 20 college golf scholarships to date. The Mastery Series (Mental Mastery, Scoring Game Mastery, Short Game Mastery) offers advanced
players intensive performance programs that consistently deliver measurable improvement.
Expansion to Indoor Facilities:
WRGolf has partnered with X-Golf El Dorado Hills to provide year-round indoor training with advanced simulators, ensuring students can train regardless of weather and utilize data-driven technology to refine their performance.
Community & Family Programs:
Bi-annual Parent-Junior Tournaments and annual PGA Junior League participation help ensure golf remains inclusive and community-oriented.
National and International Growth of the Game
Will Robins’ mentorship through Robins Golf Logistix (RGX) has expanded internationally, training over 350+ coaches across 18 countries and 39 U.S. states. RGX helps professionals implement group coaching systems that produce measurable results and promote work-life balance.
Through his Mastermind Monday sessions and speaking engagements, Will continues to educate coaches on business growth, student engagement, and coaching effectiveness. Topics include simplifying instruction, quantifying value for facility owners,
and running profitable junior programs.
Recent highlights include presentations at the 2024 Asia Online Conference and the Australian PGA Golf Summit in Melbourne, where Will shared strategies on expanding access to the game and elevating coaching worldwide.
Please share any programming you have made to keep your customers & students engaged:
Will created The Scoring Method™, a revolutionary approach to instruction that helps golfers play the game instead of perfecting their swing. Over 500+ RGX coaches worldwide use the system, and more than 3,000 golfers are currently engaged
through The Scoring Method online platform (thescoringmethod.com).
Supporting tools include:
• The Scoring Method Scorecard – identifies player strengths and weaknesses.
• Purposeful Practice Card – helps track practice results for consistency.
• The Scoring Method Golf Schools – multi-day national events combining on-course play and mindset training.
Will also serves as a PGA Coach Ambassador and co-creator of the PGA.Coach “Becoming a Modern Coach” video series, educating professionals on results-based instruction. His contributions extend through Golf Digest videos, PGA Magazine articles, and the long-running “Golf in the Life Of” podcast.
Touring PGA PGM Schools
In 2024, Will Robins and PGA of America Vice President Don Rea visited Penn State University to present to PGA PGM students. Their nationwide tour continues into 2025, with scheduled visits to Colorado University, Campbell University, Methodist University, and Coastal Carolina University, Ferris State, Mississippi State and New Mexico State. The initiative aims to inspire future PGA Professionals and introduce them to the Modern PGA Coach philosophy—bridging traditional golf instruction with today’s performance-driven coaching model.
