TPC Potomac’s practice facilities are designed to provide members with a premier experience that sets our club apart from other private facilities. Our member practice range features four expansive grass teeing areas, two with Bermuda grass and two with bent, which are rotated regularly to maintain optimal turf conditions. Cover shots provide essential shade and comfort during the summer months, while mats positioned behind the two rear teeing areas allow for consistent use throughout the winter season.

In addition to the member range, the Professional Practice Area offers two separate grass teeing surfaces featuring Zoysia and Bermuda turf, used primarily for instruction and by tour professionals as our facility is available to them through our association with the PGA Tour. This area includes a dedicated green complex with bunkers and the ability to hit shots up to 50 yards, a fairway bunker for realistic play simulation, and an adjacent putting green. Like the member range, this space includes winter mats for year-round accessibility.

To further elevate the member experience, our short game area encompasses three distinct greens that allow for a wide variety of shots up to 80 yards, as well as multiple bunkers and bent grass greens that mirror on-course conditions. Additionally, a separate putting green near the first tee offers members a convenient opportunity to warm up before their round.

From layout to turf diversity and all-season playability, TPC Potomac’s practice amenities provide members with a professional-caliber experience unmatched in private club settings.

TPC Potomac is proud to support programs that make a positive impact within our local community and the game of golf. Our facility hosts PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) sessions, providing local veterans with the opportunity to learn and enjoy the game in a welcoming and therapeutic environment led by our PGA Professionals.

In addition, we partner with The First Tee, introducing youth in the area to golf while helping them build life skills, confidence, and sportsmanship through structured, engaging instruction.
