Please indicate any Growth of the Game initiatives your facility/academy has launched over the past year (please give specifics on such programs):
Results Based Coaching for small groups. This has allowed me to have 2-3 players work on their specific needs while also going on the course for playing lessons.
Operation 36 for adults and juniors. This program continues to be a popular program. We were able to include adults and juniors in our Challenge matches on Sunday evenings. We had 60 players playing our 9 hole matches to try and pass their levels. This resulted in needing a shotgun start and including the clubhouse for dinner business following play.
PGA Hope programming began this Fall. We had 15 veterans for our 6 week program. It was a great program that we will be sure to expand on and continue.
Birdie Basics programs for younger players 4-6 years old were held indoors during the Winter months and also during the Summer months on our short game area.
Junior junior golf camps were held in July with 50 juniors attending the week long class. Most of these juniors were not playing in our regular junior programs.
We continue to have a good group for PGA Junior League. 25 juniors participated this season.
Please share any programming you have made to keep your customers & students engaged:
Monthly coaching programs are very popular and a way to have students continue to come on a weekly basis for a minimum of 3 months. The Results Based Coaching is also great as the small groups give the players incentive to always show up with the other players. Our Operation 36 program keeps players practicing and playing with the challenge of passing their next level. The Operation 36 App is also great as it allows players to post when they are practicing and playing. Other students and coaches can see their posts and respond with support. CoachNow allows the students to see their lesson videos and post their scorecards and questions so that the coach can respond.
