The Country Club at Castle Pines

The Country Club at Castle Pines made multiple improvements to the range in 2020 and 2021. In 2020 the 1-acre putting green, “The Crags,” opened. All the work was done in-house from the design to project work. Major renovations were made to the clubhouse, as well. Sean McCue was able to redesign these areas on the north side of the driving range. He designed and completed all the work on this project as well. The new wedge tee is 4500 square feet and has uneven lies on the front and back of the tee. The wedge tee area also has a fairway bunker to hit to these target greens as well. The target greens are built up in the driving range with five different greens to six different target flags. The new chipping area located directly behind the wedge area has four green side bunkers, two greens around 4,500 sq. feet each and 15,000 sq. feet of short cut approach areas.
