The Biltmore Golf Course
Coral Gables, Florida
Director of Golf: Bob Coman, PGA
Renovation Completed: 2018
Accompanying the celebrated Biltmore Hotel, a national historic landmark established in 1926 and luxury hotel in Coral Gables, the Biltmore Golf Course underwent a $2.5 million renovation in 2018. Architect Brian Silva oversaw the project with the goal of restoring the course to the original grandeur of the 1925 Donald Ross design. In addition, a bevy of upgrades were made to the practice area including new turf (22,000 square feet of paspalum) and creative enhancements to the short game area to make it more interactive. In addition, the Biltmore Golf Club Sales, Fitting & Repair Center sits on the range and allows for an immersive golf equipment experience. The new range is how to the acclaimed Jim McLean Golf School.
