RANGE PROMOTION:
At Sycamore Hills Golf Club, we are fortunate to have a championship golf course with a world class experience. Something additional that sets us apart is our range practice facilities stocked with Titleist ProV 1 range balls. The range at Sycamore Hills Golf Club in season includes both a north and south end opportunity to practice. Both ends include large Bent Grass tees, very nice short ranges with a 6000 square foot green, a bunker and complete surround of Bent Grass and Blue Grass rough areas. All 18 practice hitting stations include a metal bag stand, metal divider, alignment stick, and Flag’D golf GPS distances to each target green. The body of the range includes six target greens with flagstick and three-foot radius PVC circle, various fairway cut paths, six target nets, and pitching poles located 40, 50, 60 and 70 yards from the hitting stations. This in season offering is very desirable, but what really sets us apart is our 2500 square foot Golf Academy building located at the north end of the range. This building offers year around practice and learning opportunities. This building was built in 2001 and includes a Teaching Bay (available to members when not in use), a private bay, and one large bay with three hitting stations. All bays include an automatic roll-top door, mirrors, radiant heaters, and ‘Real Feel’ hitting mats. This building also features seven putting holes strategically located in the artificial turf floor. Between putting, chipping, pitching targets on the range and target greens, our members can truly work on all aspects of their game year around. Additionally, we have two TrackMan units for teaching, club fitting, practice and simulated golf. We allow our members to access TrackMan whenever not in use by the Professional Staff. Lastly, we offer full-service club repair, have two Mitchell bending machines, a ‘True’ stretching cage, beverage and snack area, restroom facilities, and member club storage. The culmination of our practice facilities offering year-around dramatically sets us apart from other private clubs.

In 2021 Sycamore Hills hosted a Women’s Golf initiative centered around getting more women in the workplace to pick up the great game of golf. Annually, we host both the Women’s Care Center and Youth 4 Christ golf events that are tremendous fundraising days for these local chapters. Lastly, each Christmas the club and members support ‘The Giving Tree’ for local families to help make their Christmas special.
