Best range promotion:
2020 was an interesting year all around. Covid-19 hit us especially hard but we were able to thrive thanks in part to ourMembership Promotions throughout the year. Starting in November we offer “Early Bird” Membership sales. Membership includes unlimited access to our putting, chipping, and 3-hole loop areas. Members can also add on features such as unlimited range balls and access to our natural grass tee. Overall, members at Sun ‘N Air can improve their game by practicing and replicating any shot they would find on the course at our facility. The “Early Bird” offers our membership at a discounted rate. Our Membership often sells out for the year so usually a little more than half sign up early at a discounted rate to ensure their spot for the following year. The pre-sales help us push through the winter months here in New England and we are ready to hit the course once spring rolls around. This year with covid that Spring never came as we were shut down for about 3 months. Members were able to access our course based on state guidelines but it was heavily restricted. The months we were closed is our prime membership season and selling out during that time was impossible based on the uncertainty. We planned early on to extend our Membership season, which leads into another Membership promotion that we offered for the first time. Having some spots available we were able to offer next year memberships at the current year price. Members signing up for 2021 memberships would receive a membership for the remainder of 2020 for FREE. This helped us sell out the remaining 2020 spots and helped us get a jump on 2021 before we even had to offer the “Early Bird” rates. Early projections show a more robust membership base as we head into our “off-season.”
Special programs:
Each season we continue to give back to our community through numerous donations made to not only our community but also our surrounding communities. We also work with local programs from the Northeast Arc, multiple Recreation Departments, SchoolDistricts and College Golf Teams. The Endicott College Golf Team, that practices at Sun ‘N Air throughout the year, has won theNCAA Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship 7 times – the last coming in ’19). Throughout the season we work with all of these programs and allow them to use our facility for clinics or practice sessions. Helping these programs out is important no tonly to give back to the community but also to help grow the game of golf. The growth of Junior and Young Adult programs are vital to the future of the game and we are grateful that we can help in this process as we continue to help our young golfers in our communities.
Partnering with Cherry Farm Creamery we have an annual “Ice Cream for Breakfast” event held on the first Saturday of February. The event draws 1000’s each year to support a local cause. Typically not a busy day for golf the event brings in people and helps us gear up for the upcoming golf season.
