Best range promotion:

Our best range promotion this year was through Groupon. We ran a new Groupon promotion to help bring in new customers in the hope to sell more practice plans. The Groupon deal included one large bucket of golf balls for the driving range and a day pass. Our day pass includes use of the putting green, chipping green and unlimited round on the three hole course. Groupon has helped not only attract new customers but also returning customers who have been interested in our practice areas. For a discounted rate customers had the chance to use our practice areas for the day before committing to a seasonal practice plan. As a result we gained new customers and also new practice plan holders for the 2017 season.

Special programs:

Every year we continue to help our local high school and college golf teams. We offer our facility for these teams to practice at a special discounted rate. During their two hour scheduled team practices, they are allowed to use the driving range, putting green and our three hole course.

In addition, we welcomed t wo new groups this this year, The Wakefield Rec Golf Camp and the North East Arc. Over the summer the Wakefield Rec Golf Camp held a week long camp at our facility. The camp had access to the driving range, three hole golf course and putting green. North East Arc, a program that helps people with disabilities become full participants in the community, is a new group to Sun ‘N Air we welcomed this summer. Throughout the summer The North East Arc group was here once a week and used the driving range and on occasion three hole course. It has been a pleasure to work with this group all summer and we were pleased to hear that they wanted to extend the program until the snow flies!
