RANGE PROMOTION:
It was difficult to land on one choice for our best range promotion this year. In years past we focused on our Membership renewal process. This year proved to be even better in this area as we sold out of Memberships and Add-On features before the calendar reached ‘24 and saw a 20% revenue jump. We also promoted our facility through updated television and streaming campaigns. Advertising on television and more specifically during major golfing events brought in many new faces enthusiastic for the game of golf and earned a tremendous return on our investment throughout the past two seasons. In the end, our best range promotion was 25 years in the making! Our 3-hole practice course and natural grass (member) practice areas turned 25 years old in 2024! We marked the milestone with a week-long celebration that included a luncheon, turn-back-the-clock pricing, nostalgic presentations, special pricing and offers, games, and promotion campaigns. The overall focus on the areas helped grow the membership base and reminded the public of all that we have to offer. We saw the membership base grow and the number of public rounds on the course increased drastically throughout the entire season.

SPECIAL PROGRAMMING:
Each season, we give back to our community and the surrounding areas that support us through numerous donations & sponsorships. We are proud to support many local organizations, events, school programs & causes including: Step Up for Colleen, Run for Amy, HW Edfund, The Community House, Sweet Paws Rescue, and numerous social justice and arts based initiatives. We also collaborate with and host local programs such as the Northeast Arc, various Recreation Departments, School Districts, and College Golf Teams. One of these teams, the Endicott College Golf Team, practices at Sun ‘N Air throughout the year and has won the NCAA Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship nine times & has 3 NCAA Tournament appearances. Throughout the season, we provide these programs with access to our facility for clinics and practice sessions. Supporting these initiatives is important not only to give back but also to help grow the game of golf. The development of Junior and Young Adult programs is essential to the future of the sport, and we are proud to contribute to this effort, helping young golfers in our communities.
Additionally, in partnership with Cherry Farm Creamery, we host the annual “Ice Cream for Breakfast” event on the first Saturday of February. This popular event, which draws thousands of attendees each year, supports a local cause (2024 Danvers People to People Food Pantry). Although February is typically a quiet month for golf, the event brings in crowds and helps us build momentum for the upcoming season.
