RANGE PROMOTION:
It was difficult to land on one choice for our best range promotion this year. In year’s past we focused on our Membership renewal process. This year proved to be even better in this area as we sold out of Memberships and Add-On features before the calendar reached ‘23 and saw a 20% revenue jump. We also promoted our facility through our first television and streaming campaign. Advertising on television and more specifically during major golfing events brought in many new faces enthusiastic for the game of golf and earned a tremendous return on our investment throughout the entire season. In the end, our best range promotion came through during the month leading up the the Massachusetts Sales-Tax Holiday weekend in August ‘23. Leading up to the event we held several free manufacturer fitting events and also our own internal fitting days. By lining up fittings beforehand, customers could order custom clubs and then schedule to purchase during the tax holiday weekend. There was a lot of coordination involved and effort on our end to fit, order, and receive product across multiple platforms. However, after the weekend was through, pro shop and merchandise sales saw a 250% increase over what we had thought to be a solid showing the year before! Tying our prommotion in across multiple platforms yielded tremendous results in the pro shop as well as in our fitting department. Moving forward, this project has proven to be a must-do.

SPECIAL PROGRAMMING:
Each season we continue to give back through numerous donations made to not only our community but also our surrounding communities that support us. We also work with local programs from the Northeast Arc, multiple Recreation Departments, School Districts and College Golf Teams. The Endicott College Golf Team, which practices at Sun ‘N Air throughout the year, has won the NCAA Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship 9 times. Throughout the season we work with all of these programs and allow them to use our facility for clinics or practice sessions. Helping these programs out is important not only to give back to the community but also to help grow the game of golf. The growth of Junior and Young Adult programs are vital to the future of the game and we are grateful that we can help in this process as we continue to help our young golfers in our communities.
Partnering with Cherry Farm Creamery we have an annual “Ice Cream for Breakfast” event held on the first Saturday of February. The event draws 1000’s each year to support a local cause. Typically not a busy day for golf the event brings in people and helps us gear up for the upcoming golf season. This season we also held another pet adoption day benefiting Sweet Paws Rescue. Sun ‘N Air provided a venue for the dogs to come and hopefully find their forever families. These events drew new customers and the dogs certainly made it difficult for our regulars to concentrate on their swings that day. We were able to find homes for 9 dogs during this year’s event!
