Player Development Program
Lookaway Player Development Program
Launched in 2018, the Lookaway Player Development Program is an innovative, performance-driven coaching initiative designed to serve three distinct groups of aspiring golfers:
• Junior golfers preparing to make their high school teams
• High school athletes aiming to compete at the collegiate level
• College players seeking to elevate their competitive performance
Originally established to support student-athletes at Saucon Valley, the program has since expanded its reach significantly. Now in its fourth year at Lookaway Golf Club, it attracts a diverse group of players—from rising juniors to NCAA competitors.
A major milestone came in 2023 with the launch of the College Player Development Program, which now supports ten current collegiate athletes alongside our junior and high school participants.

What Sets Our Junior Golf Program Apart?
Our Junior Golf Program is grounded in a holistic, research-backed approach that prioritizes developing well-rounded athletes first, golfers second. Our mission: to foster lifelong players who not only excel in the game but also love and respect it.
At the core of our philosophy is the Long-Term Athletic Development (LTAD) Model, which shapes every aspect of our programming. Unlike traditional programs that emphasize technique or short-term success, we take a broader, developmental view—focusing on the physical, mental, emotional, and social foundations that juniors need to thrive in both golf and life.
