I added PGA Junior League to the Junior offerings to give opportunity to get on the course. Our junior coaching had been predominantly on the range which wasn’t giving progression I would hope for. Adding junior league which we underwent in house got Junior on the course so they could experience and love playing whilst also introducing etiquette requirements and developing friendships.

Added intermediate ladies programming to give pathway to continue playing. I was seeing a trend of ladies enjoying the beginner clinic with some undergoing both the spring and fall offerings. They did not have the confidence to get on the course or join up with the more experienced golfers at the club. The intermediate clinic although not vastly different to terms on content had a strong focus on making the ladies feel like golfers and understand the club rules so they didn’t feel vulnerable if thinking about playing. I use this as the bridge to either getting on the course or joining our double digit ladies clinic which has a greater on course focus.
