The membership at the Ocean Reef Club is incredibly receptive to programming and clinics. I very much enjoy working with newer golfers and find that large group clinics tend to be a great way to get someone that is on the fence about starting to play. Each year Kellie Stenzel and I run multiple all women’s golf schools throughout the season. In our most recent 3 day school we had 60 women sign up. At Sebonack Golf Club in the summer I have a short game wine clinic as well as a on course clinics that have almost tripled the amount of women who come out to the club.

At the Ocean Reef Club I have a few clinics that are set in stone throughout the week and season but I’ve started to run a ton of. “Pop up Clinics” I send an email out to the membership the morning of, for a clinic that afternoon and usually within 30 minutes, it fills. I find this works very well with peoples schedules and the membership really finds it fun to keep a lookout for. Getting scheduling right in the Hamptons in the summer can be really tough but this year the women began a book club and I started pairing up a putting or short game clinic the hour before as at attendees already had the book club on their schedules, this was very successful this year.
