Sarah Bidney, PGA

Sarah has been instructing and coaching clients in Iowa since 2002. She is a three-time Iowa PGA Section Teacher of the Year, the 2015 Iowa PGA Section Youth Player Development Award winner and has been named a GRAA Top 50 Growth of the Game Teaching Professional for five straight years. Sarah is an associate member of the Proponent Group and has received a U.S. Kids Top 50 Kids Teacher Honorable Mention.

Growth of the game initiatives:

Completed training in North Carolina for Operation 36 (more info provided in video). This year 62 juniors transferred into this program from other shorter programs.This program has seen amazing results from kids with 8.4 strokes lost per child in the Spring and 10.2 strokes lost per child this summer.

The Leading Edge Elite Junior Program is for the highest level of junior player and included a weekly team practice, weekly private lesson, 27 holes of weekly team play and 4 tournament days this summer.

I also completed the Little Golf Train certification for instruction with children ages 2-5.

I re-branded the junior programs at Wakonda into the Wakonda Club Junior Golf Academy as I offer programs for ages 3-18 years of age.
