Roy is 71 and his passion is still teaching golf.   He is the owner of Alpine Target Golf Center in Longview, Texas.  He played on the PGA Tour for 10 years and won the Magnolia Classic in 1971.  In 2005 he started The First Tee of The Piney Woods and is still the president of the chapter.  He wrote a book, “Target Golf” in 1986 and for 24 years has done the Pace-Sheftic Golf  School with partner Ted Sheftic.
