In July of 2024, Bob Burns Golf once again sponsored the Military Officers Club Veterans Benefit Golf Outing – Honoring Our American Heroes at Oneida Country Club for the 11th year, and donated golf equipment including drivers, fairway woods, hybrids, putters, wedges, hats, and award. We assisted the tournament in raising over $100,000 which 100% of the proceeds went to 8 non-profit specific veterans groups. Camp American Legion, Northeast WI Veterans Treatment Court, Outagamie County Veterans Court Mentor Program, Brown County Veterans Court Mentor Program, Sheboygan County Veterans Court Mentor Program, Helping Out Our American Heroes, and Old Glory Honor Flight. Bob has also co-sponsored the VFW Annual Tournament at Country Side Golf Course which raises thousands of dollars for the Veterans Village in Appleton, WI. We currently have 80 units occupied and renovating another building at the present time.

Every Sunday night on NBC affiliate, I have a weekly golf instruction video. This features a disabled golfer or Veteran with golf instruction, along with Bob Burns training aids, and a different case study every week. An example is the video that is submitted below of Wisconsin State Trooper, Sgt Justin Hansen, who was at a scene of an accident when his legs were crushed by another car. Continued to incorporate Instagram and Facebook weekly to include instructional videos of Bob’s lessons, which included golfers with disabilities, adaptive golfers, as well as videos of all levels of golf abilities. Over 7000 Facebook page followers In July, 2024, had lessons with Partha, a gentleman from Alabama and originally from India, who was paralyzed from the waist down and in a wheelchair. Conducted lessons with a local high school girl that the entire team went to Wisconsin High School State Golf Tournament.
