Please indicate any Growth of the Game initiatives your facility/academy has launched over the past year (please give specifics on such programs):
For the past several years we have hosted PGA Junior League during the summer. This summer we had 53 juniors playing across our four teams. With the popularity of our program, we decided to play a fall Junior League, with 12 juniors playing.
We have also host Ladies Beginner Clinics and Ladies Advanced Clinics for the last couple of years in an attempt to grow our lady's involvement in golf. Along with that, we launched a Ladies Par-Tee event to coincide with our Ladies Club Championship. This year we had 24 ladies play in this event.
Lastly, we also have a FREE Junior Clinic called Saturday Swing. This is for juniors ages 5-9 that are interested in golf and want to know more about our junior program. This gives the juniors and their parents the opportunity to see the structure of our lessons and get the juniors excited about coming out for golf by having creative challenges at the end of every clinic. This clinic takes place April thru October.
Please share any programming you have made to keep your customers & students engaged:
TrackMan Learning Sessions: This program is to educate our members about TrackMan and all of the numbers we are looking at in a lesson. This was to encourage them to rent TrackMan during their own practice sessions so that they could have more purpose to their practice.
Short Game Clinics: These are for the students who want to focus on their full swing during a one-on-one lesson but still have an option to work on their short game.
Specialty Shots Clinic: This is a clinic to branch off of the fundamentals of the swing and understand how to hit certain "specialty" shots during a round of golf.
