This past year, we launched a “Growth of the Game” initiative at The Range at Clermont National, designed to welcome more families into the game of golf and make their first experience both fun and inviting. Every new family visiting The Range received a free small basket of range balls and a complimentary 15-minute introductory lesson, giving parents and kids a relaxed, no-pressure way to learn the basics together. The response was incredible — families loved the opportunity to connect through golf, and many have since become regulars at The Range. This initiative perfectly reflected our mission to grow the game locally, create a family-friendly environment, and make golf more accessible to the next generation of players in Central Florida.
Please share any programming you have made to keep your customers & students engaged:
In 2025, I ran a variety of instructional and engagement programs at The Range designed to keep students improving and connected year-round. We launched a “Train Like a Pro” clinic series, a progressive four-week program helping players master the fundamentals through video analysis and structured practice. Our Junior Golf Academy introduced a fun, skills-based format that kept kids motivated with challenges and end-of-season showcases, while the Ladies’ “Sip & Swing” series combined relaxed coaching with a lively social atmosphere. To keep the energy high, we hosted Inrange Skills Challenge Nights and Family Golf Nights, creating friendly competition and family fun on the bays. Specialized sessions like Short Game Sundays gave golfers a chance to fine-tune specific areas of their game, while programs like the “10-Lesson Club” Rewards and Student of the Month built loyalty and recognition among regulars. Seasonal Tune-Up Clinics ensured golfers stayed sharp heading into peak months, rounding out a year of programs that strengthened relationships, elevated skill levels, and kept The Range buzzing with activity all year long.
