Nancy Bender

Prior to membership in the LPGA, Nancy coached a high school team for over 20 years. She now mentors apprentices and is a member of the LPGA hall of fame committee. Nancy helped design of a golf course and training center at which she teaches. This facility became the first chapter in The First Tee network and is known as a model facility of the ‘Hook-a-Kid-on-Golf’. Her awards include the LPGA Teacher of the Year, LPGA Junior Golf Service Award, Golf Magazine and Golf for Women Top 50 Teachers in the Nation, Golf Digest Junior Development Award and Best 10 Teacher in Indiana.
