Growth of the Game Initiatives
We’ve been dedicated to Growing the Game of Golf for the past nine years, and in 2025 we continued expanding our reach and impact through several key programs and partnerships.
Golf Schools
In 2024, I launched a series of 1-day Golf Schools at my golf course, Bridgewater Golf Club, which have since expanded into 2-day programs. To enhance the player experience, I’ve partnered with Heritage Hills Resort, allowing students to stay overnight at their hotel while attending the golf school at Bridgewater GC.
Building on this success, I plan to introduce 3-day and 5-day camps for both adults and juniors in 2026, offering a complete player development experience that combines instruction, practice, and on-course playing experiences.
SNAG & Youth Development
Our Golf in Schools program continues to reach more than 30 schools across Central PA, along with after-school programs at the York JCC. This year, I expanded the SNAG (Starting New at Golf) initiative by adding a dedicated staff member to run weekly township and after-school classes, introducing hundreds of new children to golf.
The next progression for these young players is to transition into the White Rose Junior Golf Academy, where they continue their development through structured training and competition.
Expanding Staff & Facility Utilization
As our programs have grown, I’ve reached the limits of my personal availability. To continue scaling effectively, I now collaborate with three independent golf professionals who rent space at our White Rose Golf & Training Center locations in York, Lancaster, and Harrisburg.
I’ve worked closely with each of them to design comprehensive player development programs to ensure their success in recruiting and coaching new students. This model has expanded our instructional capacity, increased student engagement, and driven growth across all complementary services, including practice memberships and club fitting.
Through these initiatives, we’ve created a sustainable structure for long-term growth, empowering more players, professionals, and communities to stay active in the game year-round.
Please share any programming you have made to keep your customers & students engaged:
In 2025, I began experimenting with online instruction and growing group instruction, allowing me to reach a larger number of students despite time constraints due to my many commitments.
Junior Programs – Pathway System:
SNAG (Starting New at Golf): Introduces kids to golf in a fun, engaging way to spark excitement and interest.
White Rose Junior Academy: Teaches fundamentals of the golf swing and the game. On a quarterly basis, we run theme nights, Family Nights, Drive/Chip/Pitch & Putt competitions, and end-of-semester parties to reinforce learning and build community.
Junior Golf Camps: In 2025, we ran 10 camps across Bridgewater GC and Valley Green GC, as well as programming at our White Rose Golf & Training Centers in York, Lancaster, and Harrisburg, plus Adventure Sports in Hershey, PA. These camps focus on player development, skill-building, and fun.
White Rose Competitive Program: Focuses on training competitive junior players during the off-season.
Central PA Under Armour Junior Tour: We run this tour with 6 spring and 6 fall events, providing entry-level competition (maximum triple bogey, 9 holes) for new players and opportunities for advanced juniors to qualify for the National Championships in Florida.
Parent-Child Events: Held at Bridgewater GC following the UA Tour in spring and fall, fostering family engagement and a love of the game.
Golf Schools: In 2025, I offered over 10 golf schools designed to teach students how to play the game, not just perfect their swing, creating a more complete and enjoyable golf experience.
Our tagline, “The premier center for golf instruction and club fitting in Central PA,” reflects our ongoing focus on player development, growing the game, and helping people improve while enjoying golf more. Every program is designed to build skills, confidence, and a lifelong love of the game.
