Please indicate any Growth of the Game initiatives your facility/academy has launched over the past year (please give specifics on such programs):
In 2025, I focused on mother daughter lessons taught together. The young girls were usually in 8th grade and high school. It was a great way for the mother/daughters to bond while learning the game. We spent a lot of time on the golf course with rules and on course play getting the girls ready for high school golf in the fall. I've continued the lessons through the winter months both indoors and on our outdoor range. It's been really popular. I've had at least 15 groups so far this year. In addition, I've focused on individual lessons and have been using Coach Now which has a really nice feature of easy-to-use communication and sharing video and conversations. My intro clinics are always popular and I'm so happy that I have been able to keep in touch with the new players and have them returning for follow up lessons and most importantly on the course play. I have gone to their home clubs to play on there with them so they can learn their course. I do speak to the club pro ahead of time for permission to coach them on the course. So far, all pros have welcomed me because I'm encouraging their members to play more golf and buy more merchandise. It's fun to get to see what type of course they are playing on so I can gear the lessons to help them improve their scoring and gain confidence. I have also built and expanded my travel programs which is a real great way to get to know your customers better and to introduce them to other interested players.
Please share any programming you have made to keep your customers & students engaged:
I believe having a step stone programming is important to keep your students learning and engaged. The student depends on the coach to give them guidance and support. Using Coach Now has helped me with that communication and linking similar people to each other. It's been great to see the friendships developed. In addition, offering a travel program whether it's a one day outing or overseas- this is not only fun and full of adventure but is helping your students see other courses, meet and build new friendships or renewing old ones and of course keeping them engaged in the game.
