| Hackett has been teaching for more than 20 years and has worked at some of the country’s finest golf clubs prior to joining private Old Palm Golf Club. Hackett has a Class A PGA Member as well as having played on the Space Coast, Hooters, Tommy Armour and South Florida Tours. He thoroughly enjoyed these experiences but believes his true calling was to instruct. The teaching method that Hackett follows was taught to him by famed teaching pro Bob Toski – “cause and effect,” which allows a golfer to make improvements more efficiently and more quickly.
It is that same motivation and drive that continues Hackett’s success at Old Palm. As the Director of Instruction, Hackett oversees all aspects of the game’s instruction, overall golf operations including the pro shop as well as day-to-day member services. |
