RANGE PROMOTION:
Our practice area was designed to be the focal point of the club. It is simply world class. The grass tees are huge which allow us to move them frequently and provide great turf conditions throughout the golf season. We have strips of turf that allow us to accommodate up to 30 golfers at one time. We have short game area complete with a Blinder Bunker that replicates exact same sand conditions as on the golf course. Our Learning Center is able to accommodate 4 golfers hitting into our range, and numerous golfers could putt at the same time on our indoor putting green. Our new golf simulators have been a huge success and have helped extend the golf season to 12 months a year for our membership. You won’t see many practice areas that come close to LedgeRock Golf Club. No detail has been neglected in the design of this world-class facility.
SPECIAL PROGRAMMING: Please share any programming you have to keep your customers & students engaged
There are multiple programs we have participated in within our community. We host a First Green Field Trip every year with a local school district. We also have hosted Advanced Physics classes focusing on golf technology. We frequently help at the Reading Public Museums’ “Golfin in the Galleries” event, as well as the Reading Fightin Phils “Touch a Truck” event. We’ve hosted Penn State 3D Biomechanics of Golf Field Trips, and hosted a Penn State PGM Field trip in October.
We have collaborated with a local school who’s students have made wooden bird boxes for us to use on the golf course. We have a wonderful relationship with Governor Mifflin School District and have even visited the Elementary School and talked about golf with the kids!!!
