Best range promotion:

Fall Junior Team Golf is probably the best program we run at the Learning Center. It’s college football themed and features 4 different teams. This year we have 26 participants ages 6-14. The teams compete against each other in various skill games such as TouchDown Putting, Field Goal Game, Putting Relay Race, and more. Parents will hang out at the Learning Center and watch. It’s an electric atmosphere! The program is headed by Philadelphia Section 2020 Teacher/Coach of the Year Andy Miller. It’s a HUGE hit and it’s been a great way to bring some excitement to the learning center on Saturdays in the fall!

Special programs:

There are multiple programs we have participated in within our community. We host a First Green Field Trip every year with a local school district. We also have hosted Advanced Physics classes focusing on golf technology. We frequently help at the Reading Public Museums’ “Golfin in the Galleries” event, as well as the Reading Fightin Phils “Touch a Truck” event.
We’ve hosted Penn State 3D Biomechanics of Golf Field Trips, and will be hosting Penn State PGM Field trip in October.

We have collaborated with a local school who’s students have made wooden bird boxes for us to use on the golf course.

We have a wonderful relationship with Governor Mifflin School District and have even visited the Elementary School and talked about golf with the kids!!!
