Please indicate any Growth of the Game initiatives your facility/academy has launched over the past year (please give specifics on such programs):
I am involved with various PGA Growth of the Game initiatives, and have created my own programs at Finger Lakes Golf Academy based on the community needs. Here are a few of the programs that I offer:
-Birdie Bash- Play Yellow fundraising event
-PGA Junior League Family Cup events for juniors and adults
-PGA Family Cup
-PGA Junior Golf ADM model
-Women specific golf clinics for the LPGA Amateur association
-U.S. Kids Golf weekly learning programs
-LPGA Girls Golf of Greater Rochester learning programs for girls only
-Adult golf clinics for beginners and intermediate players
-Finger Lakes Junior Golf league (spring, summer, and fall seasons)

Please share any programming you have made to keep your customers & students engaged:
Here are some of the programs I offered to grow my golf academy and introduce golf to students.

-Indoor golf learning program- In 2021 I purchased a GC Quad simulator, bringing the total available simulators to three. I separated players into 2 person pods at each simulator. The players rotated into different simulators every 20minutes to work on a new task and accomplish different swing goals. PGA Associate Matt Bershadsky assisted me with the indoor program, keeping the student:teacher ratio low.

-Custom groups of 2-4 students for adults or juniors. Students assembled their own groups and scheduled their own group series. Groups were made up of neighbors, family members, couples, and parent/child. Many groups scheduled more than one lesson so they could learn more than just full swing.

-4 hole in house junior league. This league was designed to introduce juniors to golf who have not been on the golf course and/or had a lot of instruction.

-Bootcamp adult clinics. These clinics introduce new and intermediate adult golfers to the fundamentals of golf. More importantly, these students are exchanging contact information and setting up times to play and practice together after the conclusion of the clinics.

-LPGA USGA Girls Golf program. Clinics designed specifically for girls ages 7-17.
