The Little Big Break at the Don Law Golf Academy is one of our most exciting and anticipated events of the year! Modeled after the popular Big Break TV show on the Golf Channel, this annual skills-based competition brings juniors of all levels together to showcase their talent in a variety of fun and challenging events. The competition is a great way for juniors to test their golf skills under pressure, build camaraderie, and, of course, have a blast.
One of the standout features of the Little Big Break is the Glass Break challenge, which is a real crowd favorite. In this thrilling event, competitors must break a pane of glass with a well-executed shot. In addition to the Glass Break, the competition includes a variety of other skills challenges—each one designed to test different aspects of a juniors game. From chipping and putting accuracy to driving distance and sand play, participants have the opportunity to showcase their abilities in multiple facets of the game.
The Little Big Break is more than just a competition—it’s a celebration of the game of golf, and it attracts a diverse group of junior golfers, from seasoned players to newcomers. Whether you’re looking to test your own skills, enjoy a great day out with friends, or just be part of the excitement, it’s an event you won’t want to miss.

At Don Law Golf Academy, one of the things that sets us apart is our deep commitment to the development of junior golfers. We have a long history of supporting PGA youth development programs, and over the years, we’ve built upon this foundation with a range of our own innovative initiatives. With Don and Diana at the helm—industry veterans with over 25 years of experience—they have played a pivotal role in growing junior golf in South Florida, earning our academy a reputation as one of the most respected in the region. I’ve been fortunate to walk into an already well-established organization with expansive programming that has set a high standard in the golf community.
One of the most exciting programs I’ve had the privilege of developing is our High-Performance Program. Designed for elite golfers aiming to play college golf, this full-time training program is tailored to meet the needs of athletes seeking a comprehensive, professional-level development path.
The High-Performance Program goes far beyond traditional coaching—it’s a holistic approach that covers physical training, mental conditioning, technical golf practice, tournament scheduling, college recruitment, and even transportation. As a full-time student in the program, each athlete receives personalized support to ensure they are prepared to succeed both on the course and in their future golf career.
Since its inception, this program has grown exponentially. We started with just five athletes in the first year, and today, we proudly support over 45+ golfers—and the number continues to rise. It has become one of the most expansive and vital programs within our academy, fueling both individual success stories and the broader growth of our academy as a whole.
The program’s success lies in our ability to cater to each athlete’s specific needs, while also providing the resources and guidance required to excel in junior golf and beyond. Whether it’s refining technical skills, navigating the college recruitment process, or managing the rigors of competitive golf, our High-Performance Program equips each student with the tools they need to reach their highest potential.
We are incredibly proud of how far this program has come, and we remain dedicated to expanding it further to provide even more young golfers with the opportunities, guidance, and mentorship they need to turn their aspirations into achievements.
