After 20 plus years as a club professional, Kelly moved to Independence Golf Club in 2017 to become the Director of Instruction, allowing him to follow his passion for improving golfers. His teaching influences include David Ledbetter and Jim Hardy, but he believes there are many different ways to swing the club and works with students’ natural motion and abilities to help them be their best. He relates the swing to everyday movements for beginners and pulls from many other sports for similar motions.
