Please indicate any Growth of the Game initiatives your facility/academy has launched over the past year (please give specifics on such programs):
Dutchman's Pipe is a club reinvented with new ownership in Steve Witkoff. Part of the brand of these clubs, which also includes Shell Bay in Miami is to have the best teachers. My fellow instructors are David Armitage, Michael Hunt, Chris Como and Kevin Kirk.
As a part of the new club we have a full schedule of golf schools this coming season. Last season we ran a ladies school with a guest instructor that filled to capacity.
This coming season we have many new school initiates including:
Take it to the Course, Master your wedges, Bunker play, Full Day Ladies School, Putting including green reading.
Launching Golf Magazine Golf Schools first quarter 2026. These golf schools will give access to the Golf magazine Top 100 Teachers and premier facilities. Our first pop-up was hosted at The Landings in Savannah, Georgia with teachers: Kellie Stenzel, Joe Plecker, Carol Preisinger and James Sieckman. The response and reviews were extremely positive.
Next steps are to identify locations with resorts being ideal so the events can support lodging.
Have prioritized growing my social media presence.
Over the past year, I have expanded my impact as both a coach and innovator by developing a global digital teaching platform through social media. My Instagram following grew from 2,000 to more than 25,000 in just one year; my Facebook audience expanded to 14,000 with over one million views in a single 28-day period; and my YouTube and TikTok channels continue to grow steadily. This success comes from a daily commitment to posting, answering questions, and producing clear, actionable content that golfers can immediately apply.
The true measure of this work lies in the feedback I receive daily from golfers I may never meet in person:
“This tip literally may have saved my summer… never heard it from any other instructor. She’s the best.”
“Finally, I can remember which way to aim… love the bucket simulation.”
“Your videos have really helped me… I had some beautiful shots today — straight and accurate.”
These testimonials highlight the transformational impact of simple, digestible instruction delivered at scale.
A signature innovation this year was the creation of Calibration Tags — personalized yardage guides developed from a moment of insight while playing with a student. These tags provide golfers with exact carry distances for every club, replacing guesswork with confidence. What began as a personal teaching tool is now a business hosted on my website (KellieStenzelGolf.com), adopted by other coaches and credited by students as a “game-changer” for decision-making.
Please share any programming you have made to keep your customers & students engaged:
Schools with Guest Instructors
We host guest instructors who rank among the best in the game. These schools provide both members and staff with invaluable learning opportunities. Past guest instructors include:
Mike Adams
David Armitage
Chris Como
Michael Hunt
Playing Schools
One of our most popular programs, Playing Schools focus on real-course application. After a warm-up and technique check, we shift to the course to work on:
Pre-shot routines
Course management
Shot selection and club choice
What makes this unique: practice stations are set up on each hole, allowing students to work on specialty shots while learning to make better decisions in play.
Short Game Schools
Our short game schools—always fully subscribed—focus on:
Putting, chipping, pitching, and bunker play
Technique first, then distance control
Rotating through stations at 10-yard increments for real-world practice
Dutchman’s Pipe features a large short game area that accommodates big groups while allowing practice of nearly every shot type.
Specialty Schools
To keep instruction fresh and targeted, we offer schools dedicated to specific aspects of the game, including:
Wedge School
Driver School
Green Reading School (with putter fitting included)
Each event features high-touch service, expert club fitting, and exceptional culinary experiences.
Short Game Calibration
Born from personal experience, this clinic helps players chart their chipping and pitching distances (10–60 yards). The system is simple, repeatable, and highly effective.
This program also connects to my Short Game Calibration Course on Uscreen, available through Instagram.
Online Lessons
Through Skillest, I work with golfers around the world who can’t reach me in person. Lessons are affordable, flexible, and effective. Many students, like Eileen Church in Canada, have seen dramatic improvement in both skill and enjoyment of the game.
Private Group Golf Schools
One of our fastest-growing offerings, private group schools bring together self-formed groups—families, friends, or colleagues—for multi-day instruction. Past groups include:
Mother/daughter teams
Families with children
Female judges from Detroit
Three groups of four from Shooting Star
These schools often become annual traditions, offering both golf improvement and memorable bonding experiences.
Corporate Events
Corporate golf schools are among my favorite events to host. With support from a team of elite instructors, we create seamless, high-level experiences for groups large and small.
Bank of America Event (25+ years): Hosted for John Utendahl, bringing 36–90 minority CEOs together for three days of instruction and play with Golf Magazine Top 100 Teachers.
Fortegra Insurance Ladies Event: Hosted annually for six years at The Boca Raton and in Jacksonville, featuring LPGA members and top instructors.
These events build confidence, foster relationships, and deliver a memorable corporate experience.
The Ultimate Ladies Golf School with Stefanie Shaw
I’ve mentored Stefanie Shaw for over 15 years, and together we’ve created a unique school that combines consistent, compassionate instruction with a welcoming environment.
At Ocean Reef last season, we taught 90 golfers over six half-day schools in just three days—an example of how powerful this program has become.
