Referring to my previous facilities, since Dutchman’s is opening in November under new ownership and a completely different business model:

Short game clinics open to the entire membership with guest instructors. Bringing in top guest instructors to the club have exposed the members to the best in the business as well as giving our staff the opportunity to learn from the best.

So much of the growth of the game things I do are outside of my club. I am on the teaching and coaching committee for the PGA of America planning the next summit and the instruction education for the members.

I have also done a lot more speaking at PGA and LPGA seminars. I was on the committee and a speaker for the South Florida PGA section teaching symposium. I spoke at the South West Florida Chapter education summit in August. I recently presented at the LPGA teaching education event at Sea Island with Gale Peterson, Carol Preisinger and Krista Dunton, all Golf Magazine Top 100 Teachers.

Engaging and keeping customers has always been pretty easy for me. I am fortunate that my schedule is as full as I would like it to be.

Small group instruction where they choose their group and we have time on the course as well helps create the understanding of the value of the technique and the practice time on proper fundamentals.

I travel and do many guest instructor schools including Shooting Star, Yellowstone Club, Ocean Reef, John’s Island, Windsor Club and traveling corporate events including Trump Turnberry this past fall.

I have recently hired a new person to manage my social media with huge success and the ability to help many I would never meet. My instagram audience has gone from 2,000 to 20,000. I have also recently published an instruction series on calibrating short game on UScreen. @kelliestenzelgolf
