Please indicate any Growth of the Game initiatives your facility/academy has launched over the past year (please give specifics on such programs):
“Ladies Just Want to have Fun” program where we meet once a month for a brief instruction period and then we divide up into teams and play games and then have dinner following play at the club restaurant. So many new ladies come to this program and then have joined our ladies group from here.

Men’s Social Golf where men show up to play and we put them in groups and they play golf and then meet in the restaurant for food and drinks. The restaurant offers food specials. This has really allowed new members to just show up and have a game and then they make friends and it takes off from there. Get them involved and then they support all of the club including lessons, tournaments, and special events.

Please share any programming you have made to keep your customers & students engaged:
I use CoachNow for all my lessons and anyone that is in a coaching program they can upload a video and send to me for a progress report through their account. This has really gotten the golfers to communicate with me through the app. I can look at their video and send feedback with voiceover and they love that. This has also gotten them to just message me with updates in the app and that has been fun to see how they are doing and it keeps them excited.I don’t charge for them for CoachNow or to communicate with them. Just great relationship building and I have never had anyone take advantage of it. They actually end up signing up for more programs.

I also put video tips in our newsletter and on all my social media which helps grow the game and increases lesson revenue. I have also been putting USGA Rules of Golf Videos in my newsletter. I feel if golfers are comfortable with rules and etiquette there is a better chance they will come out and play more which then that also grows the game.
