PGA JR. LEAGUE – Indoor Winter Sessions
In an attempt to offer PGA Jr. League all year round, I utilize our 3 Trackman indoor simulator bays (November-March) and offer PGA Jr. League specific programming. I offer sessions in Nov-Dec as well as Jan-Mar which give our students the ability to keep focused on their golf swings and have a lot of fun doing so throughout the colder months of the year when snow could be on the ground. This program has been a huge success as it keeps myself as well as two other PGA Professionals very busy in the slower times of the season.

PLAY WITH A PGA/LPGA PRO
Reintroduced this program as we have members of our team at Lyman Orchards that are very accomplished golfers locally. I also have the ability to offer this program over our 45 holes of golf here at Lyman Orchards which makes it even more exciting to the student. This has built personal relationships stronger than simply working with students on the lesson tee.

OPERATION 36 AT JUNIOR GOLF CAMP
With 473 junior golf campers through the ten weeks of summer we have introduced Op36 into our already successful itinerary. The campers LOVE Op36 as it challenges each student to beat their own score as opposed to beating their opponent. Op36 has been vital in keeping our repeat campers motivated week after week. We now can boast 437 golfers created (according to Op36 metrics) with 7 getting through to Level 6 of 10 thus far.

GOLF FORE FUN SCRAMBLES
Our wildly popular Golf Fore Fun Scramble series is a great way for ladies to experience everything Lyman Orchards Golf Club has to offer on our Jones & Player courses. You receive 9 Holes of golf with a cart, range balls before the event, banquet following golf, non scoring fun and laid back round of golf.

PLAY WITH A PGA/LPGA PRO
On course lessons with PGA/LPGA Teaching Professionals of Lyman Orchards on The Apple 9, Player Course and Jones Course are a great way to learn the game. Not only will you learn on course techniques but you get to play with a talented PGA member of our Lyman team.

COUPLES LEAGUE
Format for the league will be a two-player scramble. 11 events will be held at The Apple 9 and 5 events (including closing night shotgun) will be held on either Jones or Player course. League is recreational in nature. No official competition. Greens fees/cart fees are paid on a weekly basis.
Complimentary beverage of your choice following each round. Enrollment will be limited to the first 50 couples to sign up.

LYMAN LADIES LEAGUE (Social & Competitive Divisions)
Lyman Orchards plays host to the largest ladies league group in the State of Connecticut with 330 participants in 2024. Ladies will have the ability to play on Tuesday mornings, Tuesday evenings, Wednesday mornings, Wednesday evenings, Thursday mornings and Thursday evenings in our social and competitive divisions.

NIGHT GOLF TOURNAMENTS
The Apple 9 Course plays host. Two LED Night Balls Included. Complimentary Pizza Prior To Event. Complimentary Donuts After Event. Snack Bar Open For Alcoholic & Non-Alcoholic Drinks Before & After Event. Walking Only – Shotgun Start. Registration Begins An Hour Prior To Event.

WOMEN’S GOLF DAY
Women’s Golf Day is an event celebrating girls and women playing golf and learning the skills that last a lifetime. It is a collaborative effort by a dedicated team, golf management companies, retailers and organizations all working together to engage, empower and support girls and women through golf. The four hour experience allows a simple and accessible platform to build a foundation and creates a network to support the continuation of golf no matter what skill level or interest while engaging them in a charitable cause with global impact from a local level.
