SPECIAL PROGRAMMING:
Within the first ten years of the MGF, it has given nearly $1,500,000 to several deserving programs that partially include American Heart Saving Strokes Program, Society for the Blind, Boys and Girls Clubs, Center for Fathers and Families, Latino Jr. Golf Program, Northern California Minority Jr. Golf Scholarship Association, Rocklin Little Thunder Jr. Golf Programs, Special Olympics Program and the Morton Golf Foundation has also provided College Scholarships as well as financial support to local youth golfers that are in need. Funds come from local donations, memorials and special events. The major fund raiser each year is the Golf & Guitars Celebrity-Am Tournament and Concert Event held each year jointly with KNCI Radio and chaired by Ken Morton Jr. and Jane Siebers. As the MGF enters its eleventh year of giving to the underserved golfing community, its role in the community has become far grander and more significant than the original intent. Today, the Morton Golf Foundation is helping better the lives of several kids programs, disabled programs and hundreds of underserved individuals each and every year.
