Please indicate any Growth of the Game initiatives your facility/academy has launched over the past year (please give specifics on such programs):
1) The G2 Golf / SentryWorld Showdown Women’s Only Pro Am – After a year of preparation, we welcomed a group of 40 very diverse women, representing 15 States, to SentryWorld in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. This event was designed as a luxury Pro Am for Women Golf Professionals and their Amateur partners. This tournament gave amateur women the opportunity to spend time with their favorite golf professional while competing, networking and having a great time with women players from around the country. The Pro Am package included 3 rounds of all inclusive championship golf, a players swag package, 4 nights at the 5* SentryWorld Inn with nightly turn down service, Daily Breakfast, Lunch and In-Room Refreshments, Opening Cocktail Reception, Welcome Dinner & Closing Gala Awards Dinner, Daily prizes and Airport Transfers.

The teams consisted of 1 Golf Professional/Team Captain and 4 amateurs. The format was a very player friendly 2 best balls of 5 players. The low key format was low stress and allowed those new to “tournament” golf a platform to be comfortable in the setting.

The feedback while on the property and since returning home have been overwhelmingly postive. The entire group has exchanged contact information and have already begun to stay in contact with new friends. The majority of the participants have never had access to an event of this type at a 5* facility. Not only will they return next year, but they will bring friends along for 2024! We are commiitted to return in 2024 and 2025.

2) JUNIOR GOLF SCHOLARSHIP – This season, I provided both an annual (complete lesson package) and individual (clinic based) scholarship to you people in need. Since I was a public links player, the qualifying juniors must also be public links players with no access to instruction. The juniors are responsible for writing an essay to explain what they love about golf and why they would enjoy the opportunity to engage in a developmental program.

3) As this is our 3rd season in the Carolinas Section, we have found local charities we like to support. We have participated in many outings to raise money in support of said charities and donated lessons to encourage folks to increase engagement.

Please share any programming you have made to keep your customers & students engaged:
1) G2 Golf Travel started in 2023! G2 started the year in Las Vegas with 16 students for Pro Ams. April we headed across the pond to Scotland to compete in the St. Andrew’s Classic. We traveled with 10 students and 2 non-golfers. In July we headed back across the pond to Switzerland and France for the Evian Championship. We had a total of 11 travelers with us to enjoy golf, wine, cheese and chocolate.

Something magical always happens when you share these experiences with folks. The relationships between the adventurers blossom and the relationship with G2 continues to deepen. Every person who has traveled with us once, has traveled with us again.

2) Our holiday tournament in December is the Snowball Tournament. This is a silly, holiday tournament for students, travel clients, employees and friends to celebrate the holiday season. The catch is…you must wear your most festive holiday garb to be considered for the grand prize. This will be the 3rd Annual Tournament. Year 1, we had 40 players. Year 2, we had 72 players. This year we are planning on 100 registrants as the word has spread through students and employees to register early!

IN SUMMARY: Although all of our travel and fun tournaments are meant to engage our students, they bring their friends, many who have become students as well. The cycle keeps going around and G2 keeps having fun providing unexpected experiences for all who want to come along!
