Ed has been very active in The PGA of America as a member of the PGA Education Faculty as a teaching subject matter expert since the mid-80s. He has also served as the PGA national chair of three major committees: Teaching & Coaching, Education, and Membership. Ed is the PGA general manager and director of Golf at the Duke University Golf Club. He turned professional in 1979 while working at his alma mater’s golf course, UNC Finley in Chapel Hill. He has worked at the Duke University Golf Club since April 1988.
