Please indicate any Growth of the Game initiatives your facility/academy has launched over the past year (please give specifics on such programs):
I host a version of “Get Golf Ready”, but taken one step farther. ALL of our instruction gets students onto the golf course. Our Golf 101 (mixed gender class) and Fore the Ladies (female only) classes are structed so players have two sessions on the range / putting green to develop skills, then every third session is on the course to focus on development of the skill on the course and to help them understand rules and etiquette. Both programs have been very popular as we have at least 1 class going each night of the week.
We also are home to the largest junior development program in the Inland Northwest as we host upwards of 500 juniors through our camps, operation 36, PGA Junior League and Elite Junior Development Classes.
Please share any programming you have made to keep your customers & students engaged:
As I’ve said previously, all of our instruction programs have an element of on course instruction. The merging of traditional range / technical instruction with on course help has helped us retain and grow our student base and has helped drive revenue for the golf course in otherwise dead times.
