Best range promotion: Our Columbia Kidz Junior Program went from 35 kids last year to 105 kids this year. Our program was highlighted by a “Junior Golf Passport”. Each week on Saturday afternoon, 5 of our club professionals worked with various ages of juniors for 3 hours. Every week had a location around the world, featuring a Touring Pro from that country/location, an attribute of that professional that they are known for, fundamentals that encompass that skill, drills that would help the juniors develop that skill, and practice routines for the skill. After each week, the Junior’s Passport would be stamped as they completed proficiency in that skill.
Special programs: For the 21st year, our Women’s group has hosted an annual Women’s Cancer Fun(d)raiser for Portland Providence Medical Foundation. Over the past 20+ years, the amount raised has surpassed $1.6M towards cancer research.
