Please indicate any Growth of the Game initiatives your facility/academy has launched over the past year (please give specifics on such programs):
1) Swing Into Golf Beginners Program
a. This six-week program was designed to take participants through all aspects of the game in a fun and educational manner. My goal was to get students ready to play on the course by the end of the 6-week class. The classes were scheduled for weekday evenings, so the young working professional could attend. Each class sold out with 12-15 participants per session. Each will also leave with access to an online CoachNow portal designed specifically for the class. The portal includes videos, pdf documents and notes pertaining to the information covered during the class. Week 1- Basics and Full Swing with Irons
Week 2- Chipping Vs Pitching
Week 3- Putting (Swing, Speed Control, and Intro to Green Reading)
Week 4- Bunkers (Fundamentals and Different Lies)
Week 5- Full Swing Irons and Driver
Week 6- On Course Strategy

2) Tournament Prep Program for Junior Golfers
The Tournament Prep Program is designed for the intermediate and advanced junior golfers who are competing or interested in competing in local, regional, and national tournaments. I usually offer the class for two age groups, 7-13 and 14-18, depending on the time of year. The classes meet once a week for 1.5 hours. Each class will be comprised of 45 minutes of practice/ instruction and 45 minutes of playing on the course. The participants will learn about all aspects of the game including technique, skill acquisition, and course strategy. The program also takes the participants through my coaching matrix:
1) Evaluation 2) Set Goals 3) Develop a Plan 4) Implement Plan 5) Test Participants Progress

3) PGA Junior League Team
This year we had our largest turn out for this program, we actually had to turn kids away because I couldn’t find enough coaches to help me. We played 8 matches around our county against 4 other teams and had practices once a week. We ended the season with a miniature golf party at the local miniature golf complex. The kids absolutely loved it.

Please share any programming you have made to keep your customers & students engaged:
1) Adult Short Game Schools:
a. My most popular school that sells out every time we host it. This school is a 3 hour program designed to teach players the fundamentals of how to score and save shots around the green . We assess students technique, provide them with skill development exercises and show them how to apply their new skills to “game time” situations.

2) 1-Day Ultimate Program
a.The “Ultimate” program will take students through a day of intensive golf training. Participants will focus on full swing, short game, and play 9-holes with us. While on the course the coaches will review course management, club section, trouble shots, pre-shot routine and much more.

3) Putting Boot Camps
a. The Putting Boot Camps are 2-hour putting “crash course” that covers the stroke fundamentals, speed control principles, and how to simplify green reading. The course has a 5:1 student to teacher ratio. The goal for the program is to provide students with simple concepts that can help them on the putting greens immediately following the class. Each will also leave with a personalized plan and access to an online CoachNow portal designed specifically for the class. The portal includes videos, pdf documents and notes pertaining to the information covered during the class.

4) The Driving Blue Print:
a. This 2 hour program is designed to help students become better overall drivers of the golf ball. Students will learn about the driving fundamentals, strategy and key factors that help develop distance and consistency. With the use of video analysis and the FlightScope launch monitor, each participant will receive a personalized improvement plan. Each will also leave with a personalized plan and access to an online CoachNow portal designed specifically for the class. The portal includes videos, pdf documents and notes pertaining to the information covered during the class.
