Best range promotion: We offer a couple different options for our driving range. We have a range card. This card has been received pretty well by our customers. We have three cards, one for each size bucket that we offer. The card is the same price. The about of buckets the customer get with each card depends on the bucket size. For example a card for the large buckets may be for 8 buckets, the card for medium may be 12 and the card for a small bucket may be 16. The customer is able to choose which card is best for them.
Another program that we offer is for our junior golfers. Any junior golfer that participates in any of our junior programs are eligible to get range balls for just $1. The junior golf programs we conduct or instruct are the Cedar Crest Jr. Development Program, Cedar Crest Teen Medalist, our LPGA Girls Golf program, and The First Tee of Dallas. Any child in any of these programs are able to practice and get balls for $1.
Special programs: We have developed a few relationships with different community organizations in the area and hosted junior golf camps and clinics with these groups. We host an annual half day clinic with Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for their learn to golf program. We also host an event with St. Phillips school and community center.
We also partnered with VA Hospital and formed the Dallas Chapter of PGA HOPE. This program provides golf as a therapeutic rehabilitation tool for all military Veterans. The lifetime sport of golf has proven to be an excellent outlet for activity and competition but also allows military to assimilate back into their community through the social interaction the game provides. We host two 8 week classes a year. These classes are also free of charge to the veterans that register. This has been an rewarding program because of the relationships we have developed with the vets and seeing the success and joy they got from the game.
