RANGE PROMOTION:
Several seasonal campaigns are used to highlight our offerings to the public. This year our most impactful campaigns were our paid social media range campaigns.

Winter Golf Range Promotion:

During the January Range pass promotion, usage was up 48% over the previous year.
Range usage during promotion = $54,900

SPECIAL PROGRAMMING:
Burke Lake partners with the community, schools and other sections of the Fairfax County Park Authority to inform the public about our Golf course programs and facilities, family opportunities and to introduce Golf.

This year we are proud to announce our partnership with Youth on Course and the Virginia State Golf Association to provide juniors ages 6-18 with access to life-changing opportunities through golf. This partnership helps to eliminate common barriers for young golfers such as cost and accessibility. Burke Lake offers Youth on Course members a round of golf for $5. 293 Youth on Course rounds have been sold since March of 2023.

We are also partnered with National Organization to host events for diverse audiences including LGPA Girls, Special Olympics, Women on Course, LGPA Amateurs.

Burke Lake works with local high schools to host their golf teams for play and practice which connects our course with the local junior golf community.

Burke Lake celebrated Women’s Golf Month in June by giving free range buckets to women all month.
Summer Range Specials promotion (Bucket and Beer Specials) were offered to the community at the range.

Digital Marketing advertising is also used on-site at Burke Lake Golf via electronic marketing screens.

Website promotion on Golf Fairfax home page, Burke Lake Golf home page, Burke Lake Range home page and Golf Fairfax practice facility page.

Cross promotion at neighboring facilities via signage, electronic signage, South Run REC Center, Burke Farmers Market, Libraries.

Ads in Parktakes Magazine (the Park Authority’s printed class and camp catalog sent to 200,000 subscribers).
