Please indicate any Growth of the Game initiatives your facility/academy has launched over the past year (please give specifics on such programs):
In addition to the 3 Group Clinics a week… I collaborate with a local technical college to offer approximately 20 group golf classes as a part of their Adult Continuing Education Classes. The classes are 5 one-hour sessions for $89. Each class size is 8-10 students and timed around lunch to encourage more spending at the facility. The classes are taught throughout the year and include Intro to Golf, Full Swing Fundamentals, Short Game Fundamentals, and Learn 5 Shots in 5 Weeks. The total number of cohorts is approximately 20 per year.

ACE Course Descriptions

Short Game Fundamentals –

In these sessions, you will learn the fundamentals of how to get the golf ball closer or even into the hole from on and/or around the green. These sessions will include the fundamentals of making short putts, controlling distance on longer putts, lag putts, how to read a green, as well as how to properly chip and pitch a golf ball.

Intro To Golf –

These sessions are for new golfers or golfers that used to play and are just coming back to the game. You will learn the fundamentals of how to hit the basic shots needed to play golf. These shots include putting, chipping/pitching as well as full swing shots. In addition, you will be introduced to golf lingo and etiquette that you need to know to play golf.

5 Shots In 5 Weeks –

In these sessions, you will learn five different shots that will take strokes of your game. The shots will include how to hit your driver solid, how to hit your irons solid, how to control your putting distance, how to chip the ball close to the hole, and how to better hit your hybrid.

Full Swing Fundamentals –

These sessions are for students that want to improve their ball striking from the tee or fairway. You will learn about how to properly grip the golf club, stance and posture as well as learn new concepts such as what a low point is and why it is important to you, and how to properly use the ground to hit it longer! And more!

Please share any programming you have made to keep your customers & students engaged:
The number of the above-mentioned golf clinics is a great way that I can keep my students engaged.

I offer approximately 35 different topics for the one-hour sessions. The topics include everything from drivers, hybrids, irons chipping, pitching, and putting. By rotating these topics I am never too far away from what a student needs.

I promote the upcoming clinics at the end of the golf clinic, via the Conaway website, my own website (ballflightacademy.com), a weekly newsletter as well as on Meetup.com (Sarasota Golf Lessons).

The clinics allow me to encourage my hour session students to work on various parts of their short game and putting that they would not normally work on to improve.

In addition, I make myself available via text to any of my students. Ask them to send videos of practice sessions and ask questions.

I send a weekly newsletter to my database of students and include an instructional article/video to answer some of their questions as well as to raise their interest in more golf instruction.

In the upcoming year. we have already scheduled multiple meetups at local breweries where I can bring a putting mat and the Trackman to talk golf, build relationships and give some instruction.
