The size and scope of the practice facilities provide for many unique entertaining opportunities. In addition to the typical demo days and non-golf activities such as Easter egg hunts, the practice park hosted a summer series of Thursday Night Scrambles. While the golf course was closed for renovations this summer, the Boot Ranch PGA professionals hosted 9 hole Thursday Night Scrambles. The range has adequate space to play these events, some holes reaching 600 yards in length.
Special programs:
Boot Ranch is heavily invested in the Fredericksburg and surrounding communities. The club provides access to the facility for the local high school and middle school boys and girls golf teams as well as the Greater San Antonio Area First Tee program. The professional staff not only helps teach the juniors with the First Tee but trains them in the art of caddie service.
