Please indicate any Growth of the Game initiatives your facility/academy has launched over the past year (please give specifics on such programs):
Free Monthly Lesson Program
Allen offers several complimentary monthly programs designed to show appreciation to the community. In the past year, recipients of these free lesson days have included veterans, active military personnel, first responders, law enforcement officers, and firefighters. Through these initiatives, Allen’s golf school has provided more than 300 hours of instruction annually at no cost.
Summer Camp
To promote the growth of the game, we conduct five separate three-day summer camps at accessible price points. For junior beginners, the focus remains on ensuring an enjoyable learning experience. The camp incorporates an obstacle course for functional movement skill development and various games to foster a positive introduction to golf. Equipment is available for any junior participant who does not have clubs. All sessions sold out, with participation totaling 200 children this summer; 50% were returning participants and 90% remain engaged in the sport.
DJ Junior Academy
The DJ Jr Academy was established by Allen to attract new youth to golf, utilizing a curriculum modeled after OP 36 programs. Serving ages 5-13, the academy features weekly group instruction and monthly 9-hole matches. To minimize barriers to entry, the program offers the lowest fees in the area and provides clubs for all participants, adjusting equipment as needed. Over the past four years, the academy has achieved an 80% growth rate and a 95% retention rate, expanding from four to twelve weekly sessions and now accommodating over 60 children each week.
Free Junior Lesson Day
Eight times per year, Allen conducts complimentary one-on-one lessons for local juniors between the ages of 13 and 18 who are either beginners or new to golf and not current clients. This program has resulted in over 50 hours of free junior instruction. Overall, Allen has provided more than 200 hours of complimentary coaching to juniors throughout the year.

Please share any programming you have made to keep your customers & students engaged:
The Dustin Johnson Foundation was established with the objective of promoting the game of golf and reducing expenses for junior golfers. The Foundation provides golf clubs to participants in our junior academy program, particularly those who are new to the sport. Additionally, juniors are permitted to exchange clubs as they outgrow their initial set, thereby relieving families of the financial burden associated with purchasing new equipment every few years.
Furthermore, the Foundation supports the “Building Champions” program by subsidizing private lesson fees and securing reduced rates for qualifying juniors. This initiative targets aspiring junior golfers aiming to compete at the high school level, with the ultimate goal of pursuing collegiate golf opportunities. Over the past decade, the Foundation has assisted more than 1,000 junior golfers within the community. The program has produced over 20 college golfers in its first four years, with an additional 20 advancing in subsequent years.
In addition, I founded the Dustin Johnson World Junior Golf Championship and currently serve as Tournament Chairman. Each year, the tournament committee raises over $90,000 and manages approximately 200 volunteers, rules officials, and staff members. The event has rapidly become a premier junior golf tournament in the United States and was ranked as the second leading junior event worldwide in 2022. This championship serves both to inspire local junior golfers through examples of achievement and to unite the community in efforts to further the growth of the game.
