Please indicate any Growth of the Game initiatives your facility/academy has launched over the past year (please give specifics on such programs):
Our annual PGA HOPE program and Junior Golf Camps continue to evolve. One of the main benefits of these programs is the complimentary afternoon practice privileges, a generous offering by our private club to both veterans and non-member juniors.
For our veterans, we host monthly games complete with complimentary beverages and snacks, creating a relaxed and social environment. Our juniors enjoy weekly games, and every eight weeks, we organize a Parent/Child event, offering families the opportunity to spend quality time together and for the juniors to showcase their progress.
Additionally, in partnership with First Tee, we are proud to sponsor four scholarship recipients. These children, the first in their families to play golf, now have the opportunity to play year-round, and two kids are volunteering now and assisting with the weekly classes, which gets them their hours, but they are also around the sport they love.
A new and exciting feature this year has been the integration of AI-generated custom songs, which enhance our seasonal highlight reels. These musical compilations have added an emotional depth to our videos that is priceless, and we’ve noticed they are being shared by the increased interest and sign-ups for our programs.
I’ve shared the Junior Summer Camp video with you via the link below. Please enjoy!

I developed Lessons Powered by AI—by Alex Iguchi—a new series designed to teach golfers how to apply biomechanics to all aspects of their game, from putting and chipping to pitching, bunker play, and full swings. These lessons are specifically crafted to help players pinpoint the areas that need improvement for immediate results.
I have presented this material at the South Florida PGA Section Teaching Symposium and will be speaking at the PGA Show in January 2025. My goal is to simplify complex biomechanical concepts and break them down into plain English. One key focus is teaching how the body’s joints must move in unison—not “wait” their turn as the body moves sequentially—which often disrupts timing and balance. By correcting this, players can experience an efficient movement in their swings that applies to all the clubs in the bag.
Although the material is advanced, the impact is clear. Testimonials have been overwhelmingly positive, with many students sharing success stories. One student noted, “I didn’t think I could play sports again, but after learning how to move properly, I’m playing golf better than I did 20 years ago.”
One best practice is to print the daily lesson plan and tips on the A frame, so that students can take home the tips with them and look it over quietly.
