Based in New Jersey, Spirit Golf Management is a full-service golf management company with multiple courses on the Golf Range Association of America (GRAA) Top 50 Public Facility list. Through operational support and marketing services, Spirit’s commitment is to excellence and community engagement, and they strive to create exceptional golfing experiences for golfers of all levels at facilities throughout the Northeast.
Spirit recently announced that one of its GRAA award-winning facilities, Five Ponds Golf Club of Warminster, Pennsylvania, was recognized as the National Golf Course Owners Association (NGCOA) 2025 East Region Course of the Year.
This award recognizes an NGCOA member golf course in the East region that exemplifies exceptional course quality and management excellence, while making significant contributions to its community and the game.
Five Ponds Golf Club, which we highlighted in a July 2023 award-winner profile piece, is an 18-hole championship golf course featuring a picturesque landscape marked by five water features throughout the course.
In addition to its stellar championship layout, Five Ponds Golf Club has a full-service practice facility, including a three-hole short course practice area. As we explained in previous content, the PGA of America Golf Professional staff offers a full lineup of player development programs for golfers of all ages and skill levels, including a vibrant junior golf program with more than 200 participants annually.

“We are incredibly honored to be recognized as the NGCOA East Region Course of the Year,” said Mike Attara, President, Spirit Golf Management. “This award is a testament to the hard work of our entire team, the support of our loyal customers, and our ongoing commitment to providing an exceptional experience for players of all levels in Bucks County and the surrounding community.”
As a municipal golf course owned by Warminster Township (PA) and managed by Spirit Golf Management, Five Ponds Golf Club is a blueprint of how public and private partnerships can result in profitable and growing facilities that also contribute to their local communities.
Those benefits often impact the youth of these towns and cities. In fact, after adding Fairways Golf Club in Warrington, Pennsylvania, to its list of managed facilities, Spirit Golf Management demonstrated its commitment to providing competitive and learning opportunities to local junior golfers earlier this year by launching the 2025 PGA Jr. League – Spirit Golf Management Bucks County Division. This was Fairways Golf Club’s first PGA Jr. League team and Spirit’s first in-house league.
Now with four premier public facilities in Bucks County — Five Ponds Golf Club, Makefield Highlands Golf Club, Oxford Valley Golf Course and Fairways Golf Club — the PGA and LPGA Golf Professionals at these Spirit-managed facilities are implementing programs to enable local juniors to stay active, while learning and enjoying the game of golf in a fun and social environment, on a team and alongside their friends.
“To complement junior camps and clinics at all our facilities, we’re proud to now operate an in-house PGA Jr. League Division throughout Bucks County,” Attara, who coaches the Oxford Valley team, adds. “There is overwhelming support and excitement around the program from our families, and with Fairways Golf Club being new to our portfolio, they are appreciative of the opportunity to join the program.”
