Wittek Golf Supply reflects on their long history in the golf industry with this monumental milestone.

Since 1946 the Wittek golf ball pickers have been running through driving ranges across the country. We still have the first drawings ever submitted to the patent’s office! So much has changed. From the designs and improvements of our products, people within the organization, the look of our advertisements, and so much more, it is amazing to look at the changes that Wittek has made for the better.

Since 2015, when Gene and Tim Pruban bought Wittek Golf Supply, the company has improved dramatically.  Gene and Tim stated:

“When we think about Wittek celebrating 75 years of business, we first have to stop and thank all of our customers. We would not be here without you. We also would not be here without an amazing team working around the clock to maintain trust with our valued customers by fulfilling our order on time and maintaining high quality. When we acquired Wittek six years ago, we set out on a mission to take the highest quality course and range supplies to the next level. We will continue to invest in Wittek and its people to keep improving year over year.”

The Golf industry just may have been revitalized by the pandemic. Since it was the only thing that people could do outdoors, and it brought people together again. Golf allowed for people to still be around one another in a safe manner. When people were stuck in the house and wanted to get out and do something, golf became a popular hobby that many people picked up, some for the very first time!

At Wittek, we are extremely excited to see the growth in the golf industry and are thrilled to continue to be a part of it. We are ecstatic to maintain our exponential growth and look forward to continuing to serve our amazing customers.
