Steve Whidden, a GRAA Top 50 Growth of the Game Teaching Professional and 2013 North Florida PGA Section Teacher of the Year, is a PGA Master Professional in instruction and the PGA director of instruction at Rosedale Golf & Country Club in Bradenton, Florida.

In this video, Steve discusses how he has increased instruction revenue and participation through simple skills tests. Each student pays $40 to take a skills test with Steve to receive a grade and prizes if they were among the top finishers. His students loved it and many of the participants took lessons to prepare for the challenge, which helped Steve’s bottom line.
