Swing Jacket Introduces Small-Sized Version Of Golf’s Ultimate Swing Teacher

-Press Release, Phoenix, Ariz.

Swing Jacket announced at last week’s ING Spring Conference the release of a new small version of the popular Swing Jacket, the Ultimate Swing Teacher. Swing Jacket was one of 40 companies exhibiting to 60 members of the media at the 23rd Annual ING Spring Conference May 19-23 at Reunion Resort. The non-profit International Network of Golf conducts the annual gathering of media and golf industry leaders.

The new smaller version fits men, women and youth with chest sizes from 26″ to 40″ (children as young as 10 years of age). Like the Regular sized model (which fits men and women with chest sizes from 36″ to 53″) the new Small model physically guides users through a connected, on-plane swing – perfectly. The Swing Jacket makes it easy to develop the muscle memory of a fundamentally sound swing by imposing the consistency needed to train the body.

“It took us 2.5 years, 52 prototypes and almost $1M to bring the Regular sized Swing Jacket to market. We’ve put the same product diligence into the design for the new Small model. Prototypes were tested on a wide range of men and women – from aspiring Tour players to LPGA Tour veterans to young children and ambitious high school students – to confirm the configuration would train all users to consistently repeat the same connected, on-plane swing as the original,” said Swing Jacket president Bill Walsh. “We are excited to bring this smaller model to the market because it will dramatically shrink the time it takes to develop an effective, repeatable swing. And in today’s instant gratification society that is really important”

Former Tour Professional Dave Bisbee, Swing Jacket’s Director of Instruction, supervised the evaluation of the new model. Using the Small Swing Jacket with two young high school players was particularly rewarding. Savanah Cooper, a 16 year old high school student wanted to play on her school golf team – but she simply couldn’t compete with distances the boys could hit it. Then she began working with the prototype of the Small Swing Jacket. “I watched as Savanah added 15 to 20 yards to her 5 iron within about 10 swings,” said Bisbee. Savanah felt like she had so much more control over her swing. She is now the #1 player on the school’s golf team – what had been the BOYS’ golf team and is the only player, boy or girl, from her entire district to qualify to play in the State Championships.”

14-year-old Keagan Webster began playing more seriously about a year ago. He’d had lessons on and off and spent some time practicing but his shots were inconsistent. Then he tried the Swing Jacket. Keegan’s father, Mike was astonished at how quickly the Swing Jacket improved Keegan’s game. Within a matter of minutes Keagan added 30+ yards to his driver and began to show the consistency that had always eluded him. Now that he’s worked with the Swing Jacket for a short time his confidence in his game has improved dramatically and he’s shooting in the 70’s rather than the high 90’s.
