According to STX Golf Marketing Manager Jason Dengler, “We’re extremely happy to release these left handed models of the Pitch Black Series. There has been an international demand for them, particularly from Canada.”

The STX Pitch Black Series of Putters incorporate the company’s newly engineered, electric yellow, premium F.E.E.L. Technology insert with a double PVD black head, black PVD shaft and black grip to create a one piece appearance. The contemporary color of the insert and contrasting sight lines provide exceptional visual aesthetics for extreme confidence.

The stealth-like, Pitch Black 1 Putter is a compact, perimeter weighted blade using both modern and classic design elements. The Black, slightly off-center shaft provides a tour inspired visual setup while ensuring 30 degrees of toe hang for the vast majority of players’ strokes. Its STX signature Roll Pocket on the sole elevates the center of gravity which promotes a quicker forward roll. This model weights approximately 345 grams and is complimented with a black players grip.

The Pitch Black 2 Putter was designed specifically to provide a face balanced solution to the golfer who prefers the putting characteristics of a traditionally styled perimeter weighted putter. It also features a distinguishing dark black finish on the putter head in addition to a black PVD shaft and black players’ grip. The Pitch Black 2 Putter weighs 350-grams, slightly more than the Pitch Black 1 Putter.

For an exceptional optical set up, a brightly contrasting sight line has been precisely positioned to maximize confidence. The double bend shaft creates a clean look but more importantly it ensures the head is face balanced which means the Pitch 2 Putter will straighten a putting stroke on the forward motion – perfect for golfers who have little rotation in their stroke.

The Pitch Black 1 and Pitch Black 2 Putters feature a brightly colored electric yellow, soft insert that literally jumps off the black head. This Soft Insert Technology is called “F.E.E.L.” – Friction Enhancing Elastomer Layer This patented STX technology dramatically increases the coefficient of friction to put a greater amount of forward spin on the ball and keep your putts on line. The Soft Face Insert keeps the ball in contact with the putter longer to also provide superior directional control, decreased ball skid and reduced ball deformation.
