Inventors of new golf training and teaching aids, accessories and equipment will be able to gauge the interest of more than 40,000 attending PGA Professionals and golf industry leaders from around the world when the popular Inventor’s Spotlight Pavilion returns to the PGA Merchandise Show, January 27-29, 2016, in Orlando, Fla.
Organized in partnership with the United Inventors Association (UIA), the Inventor’s Spotlight pavilion on the PGA Show floor will showcase golf and related peripheral inventions not yet available at retail. During the PGA Merchandise Show, the United Inventors Association will review inventions and award top inventors with one of three awards – Most Innovative Concept, Best Marketing, and the Pinnacle (Best in Show) – on Wednesday, Jan. 27, at 1:00 p.m. Judging will be conducted by UIA experts, who will be in attendance throughout the PGA Show to answer inventor questions associated with taking an idea to the development, patenting, production and golf-distribution stage.
“A popular destination on the PGA Show floor since its inception five years ago, the Inventor’s Spotlight Pavilion offers a valuable opportunity for inventors to showcase their most innovative golf inventions to industry influencers and product development experts,” said PGA Worldwide Golf Exhibitions Senior Vice President and General Manager Ed Several. “In working with the United Inventors Association, we are pleased to provide golf-related inventions with an opportunity to develop from the conceptual stage to the commercial, ready-for-production and sales stage.”

The 63rd PGA Merchandise Show, held Jan. 26-29, 2016, in Orlando, will welcome some 1,000 top golf companies and brands and more than 40,000 industry professionals from around the world to the industry’s annual global summit for the business of golf. The PGA Show Outdoor Demo Day, the world’s largest professional golf testing event, will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 26, at the Orange County National Golf Center. During PGA Show days, Jan. 27-29, at the Orange County Convention Center, PGA Professionals, retailers and industry leaders will uncover the latest trends, source the newest golf merchandise, test the latest equipment, learn proven business best practices, network among peers and move forward the business of the game. In 2016, the annual international gathering of the golf industry will celebrate the Centennial of the PGA of America, founder and organizing partner of the PGA Merchandise Show. The PGA Merchandise Show is a trade-only event and is not open to the public.
